What's this all about?

The only thing mini about the Anza is its form factor. Designed for women with style and places to be, the Anza holds her own in the office, on the train, and brunch on the weekends. Ideal for holiday touring or weekday routines, the Anza holds everything you need to conquer Rome in a day (sunglasses, cardigan, cards, camera, keys, water, etc.). It even has a spot for an iPad or 13" MacBook Pro for when things get a little more involved. Its low-profile straps have a single attachment point, a restrained design detail we love, that eliminates ungainly dangling. Mini but very mature, the Anza awaits you.

    Comments about Anza Mini Backpack:

I own several Timbuk2 bags and this was a welcome addition. It's the perfect size to carry my 13" macbook air and iPad along with a book, notebook, and a few other small things. I won't be using this as my school bag (not big enough to fit a textbook) but it's perfect for running errands. The inside mesh pocket is a nice touch. I was surprised by how comfortable the straps are.

The main con I've found for this bag is that there is only one zipper on the front pocket. This means I often need two hands to zip it. It's a relatively minor thing, but could be so easily fixed with a second zipper. It'd be nice to have a little more space in the front pocket but it works the way it is.

    Comments about Anza Mini Backpack:

This is a great bag. It's clearly very durable. Be warned it is small, but it's perfect for a smaller girl like me. I have to stay pretty organized, however, because it doesn't fit very much if my computer is inside. It fits a MacBook 13" PERFECTLY. It wouldn't fit with a case on. It will comfortably fit a MacBook, and a few notebooks, but probably not any textbooks. That being said, I'm still surprised how much I've fit in it, while it stays looking compact. This, however, makes it difficult to take things out.
The straps are cool but take a little getting used to since they connect at the middle. When you pull on one strap to get it over your shoulder, the other tightens a little.
Overall, I really like this backpack. Mostly for its quality and sleek minimalist design. I would recommend this for someone in school or work who doesn't need to carry a lot of items, or binders or books.

As a petite person, I am constantly seeking bags that don't make me look ridiculous, but that can also carry everything I need for work. This bag is perfect! It can fit my laptop, charger, iPad, and notes... and I don't feel like I'm a hunchback or hitting people with my bag on the metro!

        Comments about Anza Mini Backpack:

Love the size of this backpack! Small outer zippered pocket could use two zippers and the continuous single strap design needs to somehow be altered or secured so the strap doesn't consistently tangle. It's cute, but I would really hope these features are addressed before I would purchase it again.

I use this as my everyday purse and love it. You can fit a lot into it which is useful when running errands, yet it's still small enough that it's not getting in the way. The small size also means that I'm not required to check it at the door at stores with "no backpack" policies.

          Comments about Anza Mini Backpack:

I used the bag for carrying my 13" macbook pro. Like other reviewers, I agree that in terms of size, this is perhaps the most ideal backpack for 13" macbook users. BUT... In less than six months, the fabric behind the button in the laptop sleeve began to wear out. I ignored it as an aesthetic disadvantage as the button was still in place. But the button was in direct contact with the macbook and now I have a giant scratch with discoloration on top of my brand new computer. Terrible product quality.

            Comments about Anza Mini Backpack:

The backpack is perfect for my three mile walking commute with my computer. It holds the heavy gear at high and tight on my back without slouching thus transferring the weight appropriately with causing strain on my neck. The material is sturdy but light weight. Does not cause excessive heat on my back.

It only has a slight design flaw. The way the shoulder straps are connected, they get twisted daily when you put the backpack on and it takes a moment to get them corrected. Small problem but there.

            Comments about Anza Mini Backpack:

I bought this on sale despite the many reviews panning it; I really wanted a small backpack to use as a purse for commuting and daily life. Sadly the reviews are right. I have bought many T2 products over the years and this is the first disappointment.

The single-point-strap-through design is annoying; having no distance between the strap connection points means that putting this on both arms when in a bulky garment is not easy. The straps do flip frequently with use, making them uncomfortable.

The second point I want to reinforce from another review is that the zipper on the front pocket only has one pull and only goes one direction. Due to the shape of the pocket, that makes it annoying to open and closeand makes me feel less secure about the objects in that pocket. I want the stop point for the zipper to be on the middle top, with two pulls, not on the side.

The Pisco was a great small backpack. You guys nailed it with that one. So ditch this zero and get back with that hero.

            Comments about Anza Mini Backpack:

I use this great mini backpack to commute to and from school everyday. I was looking for something that would fit my essentials without looking bulky or like a college student-- this fits the bill perfectly! I can fit 1-2 books, a notebook, my iPad, my lunch and all the usual 'purse' items (wallet, chapstick, sunglasses, water bottle/travel mug, tea, etc)-- sometimes it's a bit tight, but overall it's been good for me to be more honest about what I actually need to carry with me! I got the off white/brown color combo and it goes with everything. I've gotten many compliments on the backpack!

The only drawback I've noticed so far is the outer pocket isn't fully waterproof-- my wallet has gotten a little damp in heavy rain.
