        Comments about Aviator Travel Backpack:

I wanted a light weigh carry-on that hold what items of necessity. This back I thought was almost perfect. I would have bought your same with wheels and a handle which would have been perfect but it did come with rain cover which for me is paramount. When I get off the plane sometimes I am in the Tar Matt and it's raining. For example the Budapest airport.

          Comments about Aviator Travel Backpack:

When this product arrived I was concerned it was not deep enough to hold all necessary clothing for 7 days in Colorado. I was shocked at the amount of items it will hold. All clothing, shoes and toiletries. It's deceptively small until packing begins! I can pack as much in this as I can in my wheeled carry-on. The side compression straps work very well to attach a heavy down vest/coat or any other bulky items. Not a problem with overhead storage, no matter how small the plane. The hip belt and shoulder straps easily stayed outside their storage areas without complications. It's very comfortable to wear. The hip belt makes heavy loads a breeze. The zippers are top quality. I can't wait to try clothing compression bags to pack even more into this fantastic travel carry-on!

              Comments about Aviator Travel Backpack:

Although the measurements are given, this pack actually did not seem to be nearly deep enough to be very useful. The worst thing is that Timbuk2 does NOT have free returns, which I didn't notice when ordering. I ended up paying $30 to return this item insured from Oregon to California. VERY DISAPPOINTED! I will never buy a Timbuk2 product again. :(

              Comments about Aviator Travel Backpack:

I needed something that was spacious enough to carry my clothing and gear, weatherproof because Florida has crazy weather, and comfortable enough to wear for hours while on my motorcycle. This bag has done the trick. I recently wore it to a gig and was able to stuff all my makeup, costuming, and rigging equipment into it without a problem. The pack sat comfortably on my back and didn't shift going around turns. When the skys opened it was great knowing the bag is pretty weatherproof already so I didn't have to panic to get the fly out/on which was super easy.

                Comments about Aviator Travel Backpack:

This is the best bag I've had. I fly 100k miles a year and this fits perfectly in the overhead on small planes. Fits my 15" laptop and I can put a change of clothes and a bunch of stuff in it. Has grab handles on all sides so it's easy to handle. I bought an extra for when this is worn out.

                  Comments about Aviator Travel Backpack:

I bought this bag when it was on super sale earlier this year. I've now used it on short trips, (3-6 days) as well as a longer international trip (10 days). This bag has been awesome for both.

For a short weekend trip, we were able to fit everything two people needed for a 3 day trip in the bag. The design of the bag is fantastic. The main compartment doesn't seem huge when you look at it, but it really does fit a lot. The top compartment does come down into the main compartment, but the amount of space the top compartment actually takes up depends on how much you fill the top compartment. Even if the top compartment is filled to the brim, you can stash clothes, etc around the corners of the top compartment in the main compartment. I found that if you're really filling the top compartment up (I had boots, raincoat, books in the top compartment), if you fill that top up first, close it, and then fill the main compartment, you'll be able to fit more in the main compartment than if you had filled the main compartment before the top.

For air travel, this bag is great. Fits in overhead bins without issue. I've tried tucking the straps in as well as leaving them out when the bag is in the overhead bin. Leaving the straps out has been fine, and is probably easier. The bag is slightly unwieldy when carried from the side handle.

All in all, this bag is my new favorite luggage.

It's a really nice pack. I use it to do light traveling and prefer it over my other backpacks because this one keeps everything in place and can be easily accessed. I especially like the top compartment where I stash my Audio Technica ath-m50x's. Shout out to audio technica.
