Comments about Timbuk2 Below the Belt:

This is a cool looking interpretation of the 'biker' wallet; however, the bicycle chain is inherently too stiff as the links only flex in one dimension. When in use it twists and tangles and you have to take special care in how you place the wallet in your pocket to get the chain to hang correctly. Additionally, I am not a fan of the zipper closure. Zippers are secure but are not very stylish in use I would rather a flap that snaps in some manner. Glad it doesn't have velcro though as that is definitely not stylish. Rugged material and descent interior design.

I will most likely use this wallet as an accessory when I don't plan on having to access cash or cards more than once or twice. This is a good example of function being secondary to form.

Comments about Timbuk2 Below the Belt:

I wanted this wallet mainly because it zips close to keep dirt and debris out of your cards and money. The chain is a nice addition for security, but it's only flexible in one direction, so you have to be careful about tangling. Like every other Timbuk2 product, this wallet is constructed of top quality materials. It's a little bulkier than I would like, but considering it overall, it's worth it.

Slim wallet that holds a lot and still stays slim. Love it in black. The chain broke after two days, the ring that holds on the bike chain bent and seperated where it was pressed togather. I replaced that ring with a sturdier one. In its defense, I ride hard and crash harder. The security of the zipper is comforting, yet doesn't look like the wallet I had in middle school. The pocket that holds your drives license makes it super easy to pull out when you get questioned by the police. When it wears out, I'd buy another.

Excellent product. Best wallet I have ever owned. Will probably keep it for many years. Great for keeping my daughter from taking everything out of my wallet and for long cycling trips. Got the chain caught on a doorknob and it came off. Don't really care though because I am not rally one for wallet chains unless I am on the NYC subway. Nice option thought. Needs a swivel on the chain to keep it from getting tested. Still gets five stars because of looks and durability/ functionality of actual wallet. Fits in your pocket as long as you don't wear stupid[*] skinny jeans.

This is the perfect wallet for me. I did not need the paranoia part so I used part of it for my key chain and took off the bike chain. Anyway...plenty of room for credit cards and whatever else you would put in a wallet. I love the zipper and it is extremely well made.

Comments about Timbuk2 Below the Belt:

Very disappointed for the price of this wallet. I just got it, and have noticed a few major issues. This wallet is trendy, and that's about it.1. I was able to pull the chain off with little effort, in seconds. Literally seconds - so forget about security (I mean the round rings attached to the chain, quick twist and they just spread right open).2. The wallet itself is bulky3. If you've ever handled a bike chain, you'll know how easily they bind up when handled because of the unidirectional nature of them. I should have known better, so I blame myself for thinking this may work for a wallet. This means that taking it out of your back pocket has to be done in 1 precise movement... any deviation and when you go to put your wallet back in your pocket, the chain is kinked, bound up, twisted, etc. So basically it does what it should... make trendy things show their uselessness.4. The wallet itself seems well made, but the inner money fold are cumbersome to access.Hoping it will just loosen up in time, but I'm replacing the bike chain with a real wallet chain that I've had for years that's never had issues. At [$], it's not worth it I don't think. If they sold it with a different chain then I think the price would be fine... and if it was actually secured to the wallet, that would be nice too.

Comments about Timbuk2 Below the Belt:

I use the product after i found my wallet missing. I am actually attracted to the fast that we use a bicycle chain to chain the wallet to your pants to keep it from missing but i didnt realise that i need to recoil the chain every time i put it back to my pocket.

the wallet is also slightly wide and it bends at the side everytime i want to put it into my back pocket. the idea of using the zip to secure the wallet together is good but the zip tend to get stuck at the corners which can be annoying sometimes.

Other than that, it is very durable which is great with lots of pocket space and storage.
