NOPA (the &#039;hood) is not a new thing. It may even have been 20 years now since the real estate peeps first coined the term. As 12 year resident of NOPA (the &#039;hood) I can tell you it&#039;s been called that as long as I&#039;ve been there.  The Nimby organization for the &#039;hood is even named NOPNA and has been in existence since &#039;91. 

Now NOPA (the restaurant) in NOPA  (the &#039;hood) is just celebrating it&#039;s 2 years sometime soon and seems to have brought the no-man&#039;s-land between Divis and Masonic-- Fell and McCallister to world attention...  or at least the attention of the NY Times and the best part is that it technically is not even in the &#039;hood.


So let&#039;s just focus on the 16th and Alabama problem- shall we?</description>
