A friend just sent me a link to a petition to google to add a “bike there” selection on google maps that would take into account bike lanes and routes when plotting out directions. Wish they had that when I first moved to San Francisco. Click here to see and sign the petition.
Here’s the route I used to take home from class everyday before I discovered the wiggle. Honestly, I couldn’t figure out where all the cyclists were. As I would ride my bike up Fell street, cars blaring their horns at me, I thought to myself: “man, whoever said that San Francisco was a bike friendly town was full of shit!”. Where were you when I needed you most google?
