After a moving email we received from a loyal Timbuk2 customer entitled Timbuk2 bags are now LAME but that could change…who said: What happened to you? I go to REI, all i see there are bags that are non-functional, expensive and silly…I had proposed that Timbuk2 try to take on Arc’Teryx in the arena of 4-season, waterproof hiking/expedition packs, since it’s damn near the only contender and your technology has already proven itself in the field of fresh features, sound design and resistance to harsh elements so I thought it woudl be a great fit. He then went on to urge us to get it’s [Timbuk2's] head out of it’s butt
