So I’m new to this whole ride-your-tricked-out-bike-with-no-brakes (woops!) thing. As a recent convert to bike commuting (mine has breaks), I’m LOVING not having to give MUNI any love, but I’m not loving my total ignorance when it comes to bikes in general. How many gears? Track bike, road bike, fixy? Spacers, cranks, rims? I need to study to understand this sh*t! So I have vowed to learn about bikes. I’d like to welcome you into my bike school because we all know I need your help.
For our first lesson, I’d like to bring our attention to “elevated” bike design. Check out the crazy concept bikes featured on Wired’s blog.

guys, i dont find any point in this kind of bike. The square tyres are useless. If I am wrong, can you explain me what are its advantages??
Agreed. It’s just fun to look at.
