First figs, now unagi. Are you kidding me?!
Today I was the lucky recipient of our man David’s unagi don, the rice bowl with eel on top that he whips up in the Timbuk2 kitchen from time to time. I’ve been drooling over his unagi for months and have finally tasted the sweet slithery goodness of our friend the eel. He even threw in some miso, kimchi, and (Korean) nori for kicks. Outrageous! David, you are now officially competing with Dan and his figs for my true love. Go chi so sama deshta!

Seriously craving sushi now…especially unagi (LOVE unagi)…*drooliing over keyboard*…damn you Timbuk2 *mock raising of fists* First an irresistable sale, then teasing us sushi-less hoards with foodpr0n…what’s next…a special edition bag made entirely out of chocolate…?(i can see it now…a three panel with a choice of dark, milk or white “colours”….)
