Last week Sunrace Sturmey Archer announced on their blog that they have received their first batch of working prototypes for a geared fixed gear hub. Seriously?! A lot of people explain the reasons to ride a fixie: the simplicity, the connection with the bike, the difficulty, the style, etc. But what reason would you have to give if you someone asked why ride a geared fixed gear? I don’t like to coast.??
