Last night, Cordarounds fans from far and wide came together to ride the San Francisco streets in their best reflective gear. Their mission? Raise awareness for cyclists in this post time-change era and celebrate the wonderful utility of Bike to Work Pants. We think these pants go quite well with our Reflective Bags.

Reflective is hot – so why isn’t there a reflective strap for the TImbuk2 Messenger bag? I want to be seen fron the front as well as from the back. I have tried putting reflective stickers or hot dots on the strap pad but they fall off – strapping tape helps but isn’t idea. Any good ideas out there? I have told T2 they need to make a reflective strap pad, wouldn’t seem like a big deal, but no luck so far. Tx all

Try SOLAS-A reflective tape. Some marine supply catalogs or shops have it , usually either in packs of 4×4 inch precut rectangles or by the foot/inch. I put some of that on the middle section of my “El Ocho” and have washed that bag several times since. It does not come off. It’s the stuff used on personal flotation devices and it has a kind of honeycomb pattern on it with an extremely adhesive, strech backing to it.That should work on the webbing strap.
Agree that we need reflective strap pads. Our product team is actually exploring that right now! It’s challenging to find reflective material that’s durable and lightweight. Stay tuned as I too need a reflective strap pad!
