Here's an idea, T2. Maybe if you started producing weather-proof book sleeves to carry your Bible around in, these guys would be happy with you again.
I'm only half kidding. That would probably sell, and not just for Bibles. Keep your library books clean when you're carrying them with you on the commute.

I'm a big fan of T2, and have several bags already. I will balance out one of these guys (I'm NO on 8), and no, I don't live in San Fran.

I am with you YesOn8 and I have had the same exp. with Apple - I am a big time fan of their products, not so much for their politics. While I will likely not buy a timbuk2 product for what looks to me like obvious support for the no on 8 stance (didn't see any pics of a yes on 8 rally), I do like the product concept.

Just some quick advice for the T2 guys, steer clear of the politics. While it may help you in leftist regions such as SF, you will likely be limited elsewhere (e.g., everywhere else). Case and point, I now know that you are sympathetic to the no on 8 crowd which makes me wonder what other political positions you will likely hold – just make useful and stylish bags.

Best regards,
An almost customer

Thank you for not "being political". I am a law student (UCLA), so I am inclined to analyze the Prop 8 (a statutory change) issue as a lawyer. Having carefully studied the opinion in the 4-3 split decision "In re Marriage Cases", I must concur with the dissent and vote for Prop 8. I don't want to start a huge discussion on your blog...there are other places for that...I just wanted to thank you for not pulling an "Apple, Inc." (they gave $100,000 to the No on 8 campaign)...that action seriously taints my opinion of Apple and will for years (and I've been a mac evangelist since 1989). I am not alone on this position and I hope Apple learned their lesson. Thanks for not joining the fray of celebrities and companies...I think many were harmed by doing so and more so now that the angry mobs have swarmed churches, trampled crosses, and much worse.

sincerely,
