Lucky T2 – Don’t try this at home!

We never claim that our bags are dry bags, but fortune smiled on baghead Anthony who writes:

No you guys rock. I got my first messenger bag in 97 and still have it.  I bought the underground laptop bag about a year ago.

I was racing sailboats in Key West 2 weeks ago and I had my lap top zipped up in my new underground bag. I was a little drunk on the sail in from racing. Nevertheless I had my laptop on the boat with us so we could see the scores online. Upon getting off the boat I was handing the bag to my girlfriend on the doc and she dropped the bag in the ocean. I fished it out in about 30 seconds and the laptop was completely dry and the bag floated. I am not sure how long it would have floated for but it was long enough to save my 17 inch $1,000+ Toshiba. So you guys rock, and as I retire the old messenger bag for the new bag I just want to say thanks once again for making kick ass bags.

That is awesome! I’ve been there and got the t-shirt too. While you give the bag all the credit, I would like to go ahead and give you a pat on the back for undrunking yourself enough to get the bag out so quickly… sometimes that is no easy task.
