Two Timbuk2′s on the way to Timbuktu!

We recently received an awesome email and picture that we just had to share:

“Last September I went to Benin, West Africa and spent four months working there. Before I left I knew I would need another dependable and rugged bag. I bought the Laptop Messenger with ballistic fabric. Not only were they perfect for my work and life there, they were terrific to travel with. One of the many adventures I had while living in West Africa was a trip to the “End of the Earth,” Timbuktu, Mali. I had always wanted to go there and it was an awesome experience. My two Timbuk2 messenger bags were my sidekicks (literally). They served me well in the town that was their namesake as well as my trip into the Sahara Desert. I took a couple pictures of me, my bags, and the sign for Timbuktu (Tombouctou in French).”

Thank you Ben for sharing!

It was a great trip. I’ll tell ya Lizzy, you should try to go in january for the music festival, and you spend the night in the Sahara. Phil, was there with me, thus the turban heads.
