Our loyal fan Dave Strunk was featured in the most recent issue of Fixed Magazine with his old school Timbuk2 Pentabike bag. How sweet is that? Here’s a little history behind the design:
The short version behind the origins of this little design is simply as follows;
In our lord’s year of 1991, while employed as a bicycle messenger in Denver, Colorado in between drinking coffees, safety meetings behind the Keg Buffet with J-bone and delivering tags in expensive stainless steel elevators, I mindlessly scrawled this design onto the inside flap of my Timbuk2 messenger bag.
Now, here we are 18 years later and this seemingly mindless little scribble has turned up everywhere from stencils in Boston to tattoos in Austin.
