Commute 2.0 & TSA

Gizmodo did a nice little didy on our new Commute 2.0 yesterday and stirred some commentary about whether the 2.0 is or is not TSA compliant. Well . . . it is! Our designers followed TSA’s painfully detailed rule book in developing the Commute 2.0 and we’ve been personally testing it for months on our jaunts around this great country. It works, we swear. But if TSA catches a trace of terrorism on your breath in one of their checkpoints, neither the Commute 2.0 nor the Man himself can help you. Peace be with you.

Add pocket for e-book reader like kindle to commute 2.0. That will be great.

Mintoo. Good thinking on the Kindle sleeve. Stay tuned on that front but for a different bag. How great is it that you cannot turn the Kindle “off” so flight attendants cannot regulate when you read it at takeoff and landing?!

that glass bottle of water is definitely over 100mL and is not in a 1 quart plastic ziplock

Since commute 2.0 is traveling bag. Why not one kindle book reader pocket in it too.

Why no cross-strap on the newer Commute bags?

The “old” Commute didn’t come with a cross strap either. It’s not the most bike-friendly bag, but a lot of people do ride with it.

I am all about the OG Commute. Why do you continue to change the Commute?

Would love a smaller version for the 13″ laptops and the cross straps.
Or I would just like to get the same army / spinach / army color on a laptop messenger.
