Why include in the name “messenger” if it doesn’t fit the one requirement of a messenger bag. I’m really disappointed. No where to they say it’s a urban bag… and not a cycling friendly bag. Coming from Timbuk2, I though they would understand and care to rightfully use the term “messenger”. Now I’m stuck with a back that won’t stay on my back while riding. – Anyone want a Commute 2.0 URBAN bag?

Would love a smaller version for the 13″ laptops and the cross straps.
Or I would just like to get the same army / spinach / army color on a laptop messenger.

The “old” Commute didn’t come with a cross strap either. It’s not the most bike-friendly bag, but a lot of people do ride with it.
