We sold more than 50 4 watt solar panels at PopTech this morning in less than 15 minutes. And they’re lining up again. . . we only have 10 left. Great progress! The interest in the FLAP bag is encouraging; we need this demand and interest to be able to bring the FLAP bag to large-scale production. Even Erik Hersman, founder of AfriGadget, stopped by to buy a FLAP. Exciting! Want to buy a FLAP bag? Fill out this inquiry form and return it to flap@poptech.org.

My daughter does charity work in Indonesia. She is going back in Jan. for 6 months. I would love to get her one of these bags. How can I do that?
how much for each 2-watt and 4-watt FLAP bag? colors available or are they selected by random?
Eric. That is awesome. We sold out of the 4 watt bags yesterday, but we’re asking people to complete the inquiry form on timbuk2.com/flap (http://www.timbuk2.com/static/images/poptech/2009/FLAP_Inquiry_Form.pdf). If we can aggregate orders like yours to reach minimum order quantities, than we can produce another batch of FLAP bags. We *really* want that to happen so please so submit the form and thank you for your interest.
Alvin – The 2 Watt bag has not been priced for sale but the 4 watt bag sells for $100. We are only offering it in Potrero (not brown as depicted on timbuk2.com/flap) and we are asking people to complete and submit this form – http://www.timbuk2.com/static/images/poptech/2009/FLAP_Inquiry_Form.pdf – if they want to buy one. We need to hit minimum order quantities to get more FLAPs produced; they are very expensive to produce and we are selling them at cost. By filling out the form, you’re helping to establish true demand so we can get more FLAPs made!
