Lost and Found (Literally)

A customer recently reported that her (very good looking) messenger was stolen . . . and then returned!

Her story began, “Tonight while I was enjoying a cheap dinner at Sushi Ichiban in downtown Portland my Timbuk2 messenger bag was stolen. . .” We all hoped her bag would magically re-appear like those, “They returned my wallet!” stories you hear from time to time. And then, 11 days later, it happened!

Today she wrote, “You’ll never believe this: my bag was returned to me. It had been stolen from one restaurant, and turned up at another restaurant several days later. Happily, my notebooks and calendar were still inside (though, predictably, the bike tools, spare tube and patch kit, mini-pump and a couple of bike parts were gone). It’s dirty from where it sat in a muddy puddle and there’s a new little tear on the back side, but I am VERY pleased to get it back! Phew!” Rejoice, rejoice. The messenger is home. Read more about her story here.
