You know I never even thought about what side I wear my bag on until I bought a timbuk2 bag... I'm another righty that wears a bag "left-handed". It would be really awesome if the pocket could be offered on the left side as well (hell even offering the non custom bags in a left-handed version would be awesome too). Till then though I might just have to learn to sew & put the pocket and the lock on the other side of my bag.

What has to happen to get a left-handed Nepolean pocket? Timbuktu, you folks are usually great about meeting the needs of your customers/fans.

my timbuk2 D-Lux messenger just arrived about 4 hours ago - I'm also a right-handed person with the natural tendency to wear shoulder bags on the right shoulder. Since the D-Lux is right-handed only, I've just decided to wear it backwards... it totally works. I actually think the napoleon pocket is easier to use this way, probably because its so awkward having the bag on the left shoulder.

just swing around the bag to the front. It's what I used to do with my backpacks to get stuff out of them without taking it off.

I was tempted, but with the lack of a return option for us lefties needing more expensive custom bags with still mostly inaccessible napoleon pockets, I think I will just have to pass. My duct-taped and carabinered timbuk2 will have to hold a little longer.

Im with May on this one. I'm one of those righties that prefer to wear my bags over the right shoulder. By default that's how I put my bag on without thinking. Thanks for the option.

I'm not a lefty but I always wear my messenger bag on my right shoulder. I adjust my cam buckle with my right hand.

I gotta wear my other Timbuk2 messenger bags, with the default right handed option, backwards (with the bag opening next my body) in order to adjust the cam with my right hand.

Thanks for keeping that left handed option in the Bag Builder.

Can let us decide whether we want the napolean pocket on the left or the right side zip?
