FLAPs in Haiti

In late February, we teamed up with PopTech to use spare solar panels and fabric to build 47 FLAP bags to send to Haiti. The hope was that the cell phone charger and solar powered LED in the FLAP bags would prove useful in off-grid medical facilities that were set up all over Haiti. We recently received these photos of the bags landing in Haiti. Word from our friends on the ground there is that the bags are in action and working well. Thanks to Cori for her sewing magic and PopTech for thing HUGE and finding space on a jet to Haiti! A great team effort all around.
