Key Accessories for Bike Commuting

At the risk of ostracizing myself from the cycling community, I must admit that I’m not in to cycling gear. But after a year of mulling it over, I finally purchased arm warmers for riding in San Francisco. They’re made by the Canadian company Riyoko that “creates and builds stylish, comfortable and functional bike attire with the biker and their moving environment in mind.” Amen! I wore them this morning for the first time and they’re fantastic! They’re merino wool with a wickaway, antibacterial lining and a conspicuous lack of cheesy bike logos. When paired with a scarf, they make for a toasty but ventilated commute.
