We’ve collaborated with local SF street artist, Apexer, for the release of a limited-edition capsule collection. Pulling inspiration from graphic design, high fashion, architecture, and abstract art, his work boasts loud hues and bold patterns that have been featured in major cities across the globe. Now, coming full circle, Apexer’s illustrious work caught our eye and a formal collection was born, featuring the artist’s signature look on some of our most celebrated styles.

“Growing up in San Francisco, Timbuk2 has always been a ubiquitous force in the city’s creative spaces. There’s definitely a special synergy between bike messengers and street artists” says Apexer. “Both communities tend to be quick and constantly on the move, all while boasting a distinct individual style. Timbuk2 does a great job at appealing to both of these qualities, so when the brand approached me for this collab it was an easy choice for me to make.”

Cut and sewn just blocks away from where Apexer was born and raised, at our Mission District factory, this collaboration is based off of a vibrant mural Apexer painted at our headquarters, last December.
