Comments about Especial Tres Cycling Backpack:

I use this backpack every day. It's 5 miles each way to work, and this thing holds my laptop, work clothes, gym clothes, two pairs of shoes, and lunch! Coming from a former North Face backpack user, this bag is so roomy and comfortable that I'll never go back.

It's been a notoriously rainy season in SF and this bag never fails to keep all my goods dry. Has a nice side quick-access pocket for my phone+keys during my rides. Semi-spacious front pocket fits my laptop charger and accessories like wallet, sunglasses, and pens/pencils.

10/10 would recommend for the average bike commuter.

Comments about Especial Tres Cycling Backpack:

I love this backpack. It's well-constructed and feels good on my back when riding. Unlike most messenger bags, it stays put even when I'm struggling to get up steep hills. The backpack is roomy and I can fit pretty much all of my winter gear with room left over.

The only complaint I would have is that the organizer in the front pocket is pretty useless. There's not enough sections for my taste and items regularly slip out of their place and end up in a jumble inside the pocket.

However, this gripe is not enough for me to take even a star off my rating. It's a great backpack. Highly recommended.

Comments about Especial Tres Cycling Backpack:

I have been riding in some very heavy rainfall lately in the sf bay area and this bag holds up great against the weather. I've been under heavy rain fall for 2 hours on a ride and my personal belongings were kept completely safe and dry.
At first I thought the roll top would be a bit of a hassle, but you shortly get used to it and the side access is being put to great use as well.
I wish the rain would slide off the bag a bit more, when I come inside after a rainy outing, I usually always have to wipe off rain drops with a rag, or else the drops will stay on bag for a long time.

Comments about Especial Tres Cycling Backpack:

I like the amount of space in this bag, I asked for it as a gift primarily to carry art supplies back and forth to class. It is heavier than I expeced, but it is extremely sturdy. I have not had to test the rain proof quality yet, but its still early in the season.
It holds my computer or tablet securely. There are small pockets on the front that are very difficult to get into. The opening should have a gusset on the siides so that the pockets are more accessible when the pack is full. I really like that the inside is a light blue color (on the black pack) it makes it easier to see what is in the depths of the bag when it is packed for travel. It easily held everything i needed including a coat. and extra shoes for a week of travel, the roll top is great and can be sinched down tight to make it smaller for underseat storage on a plane or easy fit in the overhead.
Overall it is a good bag for someone who likes to have a hands free means of carrying a large load, I will test it for carrying art supplies this week as classes begin. If it is not suitable for daily carry, I will definately use it for painting en plein aire. The overall height will help with rolled paper and other tall art supplies or tools; and my art bins will easily fit inside. My only concern is the weight when I get it packed. I recommend this bag for someone who is strong enough to carry it daily or anyone who wants an all in one travel backpack with plenty of room.

I ordered this mainly for cycling/touring purpose.
However, I did use this during my travel in Perth: carrying mainly Nikon D90 with Nikon 24-70mm lenses, powerbank, purse, passport and phone.

I like the side pocket at the back section, providing secured storage for my mobile phone, yet easy to access when I need it.

I like the roomy main compartment that can more than comfortably fit my DSLR and long lens. I have yet to fit my laptop in along with my DSLR but I think it would be quite tight considering the bulkiness of DSLR will make the other compartments less accessible.

Needed a backpack for cycling and traveling. This one gives me enough room for basically anything (laptop included) and it is waterproof, so no need to worry about the weather.
The prize made me hesitate, but found a good black Friday offer and I do not regret it at all!

Comments about Especial Tres Cycling Backpack:

This bag is just the size I was looking for. I am a huge fan of Timbuk2, and as a result have several bags of theirs. This one is large and awesome to carry everything you need on a short trip or if you have to pack things around.

First "Roll-Top" bag I have had, and so far am a fan.

I bought it because I have been traveling for work, and with some tools I need to bring along with all of my clothes, I needed something large. This lets me have everything I need all in 1 bag and still has quick access to my computer when I have to pull it out for work or at the airport for security.

The ONLY gripe I have is the front pocket is flat, making it sometimes hard to get into without unzipping the side all of the way.

                  Love the bag.
