This is a great product but does not fit an iphone5. It holds some small items but if you are looking for something for your phone AND other items this is not a great bag for that.

      Comments about Goody Box:

The flap on the front is too small! When it rains, the water comes off the flap and into the phone compartment. I bought this for a week-long bike tour, and unfortunately I had to save my phone twice.
Great bag if the flap was longer

        Comments about Goody Box:

This is an excellent storage pocket for your bicycle's top-tube. Perfectly sized to hold my iPhone 5, house key, and a power bar. It's not especially roomy, but for an hour or two riding in the park and around town, I don't need it to be. I tried the larger Timbuk2 bento box but it really got in the way of my cycling AND offered space I wasn't needing. Best thing about this mini one is it doesn't get in the way of my legs when pedaling or when I ride my bike while standing up on the pedals.

                Comments about Goody Box:

I bought 2 of these goody boxes, one for my road bike and one for my wife's. We found the boxes to be very well constructed and lightweight and they would have been perfect for us except for one serious design flaw: the front strap wasn't long enough to fit around the head tube/stem on either of our bikes unless we compressed the front of the box, thereby reducing its volume significantly. With a longer front strap these boxes would rate 5 stars, but with its too short front strap I found them useless for us and returned them. My suggestion is that Timbuk2 offer a version of this box with a longer front strap for road bikers.

Very cute and would have been great on my bike- if it would fit!
The front strap that fastens on the handlebar stem is WAY too short.
I tried it on mine as well as my husbands bike and it doesn't fit either one.
Too bad, because I wanted it too work!

                    Comments about Goody Box:

I bought this bag to hold my cell phone, house key, money, and energy bars when I'm out riding. It's a perfect size for that and fits neatly out of the way. I really like having those items in a bag and not in my pocket.

I bought one for my son's bike too, so now he carries his own energy bars and doesn't have to ask Dad when he wants one.

I mounted mine on the top tube and headset, and he mounted his on the top tube and seatpost. Both ways work great and are out of the way.

If you're looking for a small bag to hold a few things and be out of you way - this is the bag!

I use this bento box on my road bike to carry my iphone & keys. My cell phone just fits (put iphone in zip loc bag so it slides in easier). The strap that wraps around the stem could be a little bit longer but all in all it's a good bag & I would buy it again.

                          Comments about Goody Box:

I purchased the small version of the Goody Bento Box top-tube bag just prior to a 500-mile week-long charity bike ride. I wanted to have my phone and a small camera handy, but sweat-free. The Goody Bento Box fit the bill nicely. There are many top-tube bags in the same size class as this one out there, and many of them are less expensive. I chose the Goody anyway, because it is among the highest quality in materials and construction. It features a single-zipper closure to keep the weather out and the contents in. A zipper pull makes access easy, even in gloved hands, and a clever wind/rain hood covers the slider when it is in the forward (closed) position. I could whip out the camera on the fly to capture the beautiful scenery.

When fastened to the bike, the Goody was rock-solid stable and never budged. My knees occasionally brushed against the sides of the bag when I stood up in the saddle, but the bag never seemed to be in the way.

The size of the bag was perfect for my small point-and-shoot camera and my smallish smart-phone (an old HTC Incredible). I could also have fit in some cash, a few cards and maybe a Chapstick before entering the "stuffing" stage, but I opted to keep those items in my jersey. A longer phone like the iPhone 5 might require a little coaxing to get in the zipper opening, but I confess I have not tried it. A large phone like the Samsung Galaxy S might not fit at all (but again, I have not tried it). Check the dimensions, and note that Timbuk2 makes a larger version of this bag if you need more room.

My only negative for this product is that the straps are just a wee bit short. The bag fit just fine on my road bike and held fast and secure for all 500 miles of the ride, through rain and sun and bumpy roads and stand-up climbs and high-speed descents. When I got home and switched over to my mountain bike to commute to work, the front strap couldn't quite reach around the oversized head tube. I'll solve this problem with a little Velcro extension, and if you have a bike with normal-sized tubes, you'll be fine.

Overall, if you're looking for a small top-tube bag to hold just a few items, I would recommend this one.

                          Comments about Goody Box:

I bought this for those long bike rides in which I want to carry everything I need. The Goody Bento Box frees up my jersey pockets and makes it easier to access more important things (phone, handkerchief, Chapstick, snack). I especially feel like my phone is safer in there than in my sweaty pocket. The only con is that the zipper rattles on rougher terrain, but it's not a deal breaker. I'd also love to see this in more colors!
