Warranty Repair

Timbuk2 products have a lifetime warranty; we stand behind the legendary quality and craftsmanship of all our products. But we also embrace the wild, twisty ways of life. If there is a defect in the materials or workmanship of your Timbuk2 product (gasp!), you can file a claim by completing Timbuk2's warranty repair claim. If your product meets Timbuk2's warranty policy, we will repair your bag. If your Timbuk2 product is damaged during a normal or abnormal adventure, you will not qualify for a warranty replacement, but you will have epic stories to tell your friends. See if you qualify for a Timbuk2 warranty repair and contact warranty@timbuk2.com.

Please note that we also have a handful of non-Timbuk2 manufactured products, such as Blue Bottle and New Balance shoes, included on the website. While we love these products and think they’re awesome, they’re not covered under our lifetime warranty.

Comments about Messenger and Backpack Rain Cover:

When packed, it's small and lightweight. When it rains, it does a great job protecting my backpack. And it's quick to dry. Perfect for backpacks that are not water/weatherproof.

Comments about Messenger and Backpack Rain Cover:

I bought the 2015 Aviator not knowing that that it didn't come with the rain slick the previous years model. I was frustrated that the current model didn't have one. I spent time trying to track the 2014 model down(to no avail...). I ended up taking to a guy at Shotwell. He sold me on my 2015 and to order the separate rain slick. I am so glad that I stayed with the 2015 and got the rain slick separate!!! I can also use it on my command messenger! The slick fits perfect and is rugged enough to take on anything I've thrown at it! Highly recommend!!!

Comments about Messenger and Backpack Rain Cover:

This thing packs down tiny, weighs almost nothing, and does its job exactly as advertised. I have tested it out in multiple encounters with rain and it keeps my pack bone dry. No complaints from me.

A little bigger than expected so it takes up a little more room in my bag but it definitely keeps my bag dry when walking around NYC on rainy days, so its worth it.

Comments about Messenger and Backpack Rain Cover:

I really liked this cover for the three times I used it. My two problems: 1. The fit wasn't very good and even when tightened, it fell off on a long ride and I lost it. I might also add that I use the timbuk2's especial raider pack. 2. The light strap on the back is a bit too floppy and essentially useless for my tail light clip. So, be sure to tighten this bad boy a little extra.

this is perfect for keeping your beg dry when unexpected bad weather strikes. especially in heavy rain, this is perfect for keeping wetness out of my bag (and off my laptop). when i don't need it, it just lives at the bottom corner of my messenger bag, waiting to be useful!
