Comments about Rogue Laptop Backpack:

Bought this pack back in Jan. 2017. I use it on my daily commute. I walked through a heavy rain and the small outter pocket in the front did not keep my items dry. Most of my items in this pocket got wet. The large compartment did a good job keeping my things dry, however, I didn't tuck the top right/left corners all the way so some rain did get inside. I find it a difficult transition to swing this backpack to one arm onto it's side to grab something out of the outside zippered pocket. There is only one side stretch pocket for a water bottle/small knick-knacks and it happens to be on the side which I do not usually reach for. If these was a stretch pocket on both sides of the bag or on the other side than it is on now, I would like it better. I can't grab my bus pass or wallet out of the external zippered pocket without fumbling and hitting things around me or hitting my face/chin. Holds a lot in the main compartment, but you'll need some sort of orgnaizational method since it is a deep compartment with limited internal built in organization. Too difficult to take things out/ put things into the bag quickly.

Comments about Rogue Laptop Backpack:

I think it's a great bag if you're a commuter, in school and bike around but I was pretty bummed out and disappointed after being caught in the rain that the bag is not waterproof at all, all of my stuff was soaked thankfully I didn't have any electronics inside because that was one of the main factors in deciding to purchase the bag. I'd definitely recommend it as a good bag to get but would warn that your contents will get wet if the bag gets wet

Color is a little different, but it's a good backpack

      Comments about Rogue Laptop Backpack:

I'm a female, about 5'5", and this backpack was a good size for me. I use it mainly for college, and I can comfortably fit my 13" laptop, some notebooks, an umbrella, and other miscellaneous little items. I purchased the Under Cover - Reverse FARP color, which looks online like a pink trim on a navy backpack; however, in person, the pink looks more like a brown-gray color. I was a little disappointed, but it still looked more feminine than the other colors to me, so I kept it. Also, I recommend getting the velcro silencer strips if you aren't a fan of that loud ripping noise every time you open and close your backpack -- not a good idea for a habitually tardy student who tries to sneak into class mid-lecture (oops).

It's perfect size for what I need. Big enough to fit my laptop/camera and a few other extra's without being too bulky.
Planning on using as gym bag on other days so...again not too bulky and comfortable strap.
Looks very high quality so time will tell...also read something about having lifetime warranty so you know Timbuk2's got your back.
My only worry is the element getting in when it's raining...time will tell.

        Comments about Rogue Laptop Backpack:

I love this bag - I use it for work and personal because it's the perfect size for laptop/books/jacket but not clunky. It's also incredibly stylish with it's coated black material and military inspired strap design. My only wish is that it had a few more interior pocket options to be a little more organized in the main opening.

        Comments about Rogue Laptop Backpack:

I bought this backpack for my husband and it was everything he didn't know he needed. This bag has already been used for work, commuting, and traveling. At 25L storage capacity, the bag fits more stuff than you think! He has used it as his only bag for a week long trip and praised it's ability to magically fit everything he needed. We live in Amsterdam and the bag is perfect for bicycling around the city to cafe's or to meetings. Stylish enough to wear to meetings, but functional enough to handle the winter rain and snow. He says the bag could use a few more pockets, but you can't have it all. In my opinion, this bag is as close to perfection as they come.

        Essential and lean backpack.
Great to commute on public transportation or motorbike.
I would have expected few more dividers and internal pockets.
Nevertheless it fits my core scope.

        Comments about Rogue Laptop Backpack:

I'm satisfied with this backpack, I got it on sale for a reasonable price too. The front outside pocket is annoyingly narrow, I can fit a phone and headphones in it, anything else I have to remove everything to find something its so small. On the inside theres some small pockets and a laptop pouch, to me its kind of a backpack duffel bag, bottomless you know? A bit hard to dig stuff out of. But this back just finished its first semester with me and a trip to Nicaragua so it gets the job done and looks pretty cool too. I'll be toting this thing around for years and countries to come.

        Comments about Rogue Laptop Backpack:

Interior pockets should be placed a little lower in the bag. It's too high up to the top. When I open/close the bag, things get pulled out and fly into my face (ie: pen) or smashed by the cover (had a packet of Pocky cookies in there and the part of the cookie that stuck out from the internal pocket was crushed. More internal pockets like the timbuk2 messenger bags would be better to organize my smaller items. I am not able to fit glasses AND sunglasses into the existing pockets. I can fit one but not both. I use hard cases for both types of glasses because prescription glasses are not cheap and I don't want to shell out $ each time my sunglasses get smashed. No key ring latch like my Timbuk2 messenger bag has. I thought all Timbuk2 had this feature, but I am wrong. Key latch is very helpful for me. The main compartment is great for my larger items - lunch, 16oz klean kanteen water bottle, and a 16 oz thermo, and some layers during the cold season (large scarf, gloves) with room to spare. I'll have to reorganize my smaller items into small bags or something. I use this bag mostly for commuting to/from work via bus. I do not carry a laptop. Have not been in a heavy rain with this backpack yet, but I am in Seattle so it will happen eventually. During a light misting/sprinkle, it did well to keep my items dry.

        What's this all about?

A military-inspired backpack with a slim, urban profile, the Rogue samples went fast in the Timbuk2 office. Clean on the outside, the Rogue is rather clever on the inside. A stretchy, air mesh laptop sleeve keeps your laptop safe and cool and internal organization provides a place for pens and power cords. On the outside, its cushy straps are super comfortable and come with a bottle opener for hydrations emergencies. And as a nod to the hardcore, daisy-chain webbing provides attachment points for your U-lock, carabiners or more serious strap-on accessories, but they're designed to look good naked too. Do as you wish.
