    Comments about Rogue Laptop Backpack:

I mainly use this as my daily carry to take the essentials i need when i'm at work, hanging out at a coffee shop, or walking around town.

Took this to SD for comic-con weekend and it was great. Front exterior pocket let me keep my external battery handy. Inside pocket held my little things like memory cards/cables. Main compartment held my tablet, camera, monopod, and 3ds. external webbing let me hang a bendy tripod on the outside.
Size of the bag was perfect for navigating crowded halls without whacking people as I walked by.

I especially like that the cover straps let you maximize the main compartments space for when you gotta shove a few extra items in there and still keep everything secure.

My only nitpick would be that the laptop holder is pretty minimal on padding, but the compartment is slightly raised and the back of the bag seems sturdy and supportive enough to provide a bit of protection so not a big deal.

Style looks great, I've gotten a bunch of compliments about its looks. little extras like the bottle opener and daisy-chain webbing are great.

It lets me carry all my daily essentials, is comfortable to wear, the materials and build quality feel solid, and it looks great. Overall, great value.

      Comments about Rogue Laptop Backpack:

I can do anything/go anywhere with the Rogue backpack. It sufficiently held everything I needed for a four-day trip and acted as my only personal item on a flight. It sufficiently holds everything I need for a day commuting across town (via car or bike). On a typical day, I carry a laptop and charger, books, a lunch, and it still has room for other items as I need them. I got caught in the rain on my way to the metro yesterday and trusted that my books and laptop would be kept safe and dry.

While the pack is roomy, I've found that there are considerably fewer smaller compartments than other backpacks I've seen. However, for me, this has been a blessing in disguise, requiring that I take only what I need instead of storing things in small pockets that I'll later forget about, unknowingly carrying their weight everywhere I go. Additionally, at moments, I have found the straps to be somewhat uncomfortable on my neck, but haven't worn the backpack for a long enough duration to find this to be a problem.

After weeks of searching for the ideal backpack, I have found it (and at an irresistible price). I have complete confidence that this backpack will last a long while!

        Comments about Rogue Laptop Backpack:

Use the bag mostly for bike commuting to work and around town. Love the stiff back support that gold the shape and spreads the weight without being uncomfortable. Like the velcro closure with the option to use straps. If I am doing short rides I will leave it unclipped. Could use a other side pocket. I like to use those for quick access items like keys to the lock or phone, this bag only has one and I think it is on my less convenient side. Other than that I like the simplicity of one big compartment, with the one small outside pocket and one small inside pocket.

Disappointed quality, this 4 bag from Timbuk2 and I first time fascinated by the quality of tailoring, before there are 2 instant messengers. Stick out the skin, the curve seams - sorry this is not the bag Timbuk2 c which I am familiar in 2014

            Comments about Rogue Laptop Backpack:

I got this backpack expecting to be able to bring it to work, on the bus, and on hiking trips all the same. It did not disappoint. It has room for my 15-in laptop, a couple of books, a binder, a sketchbook, my water canteen, and more if need be.

I have used this for a hiking trip as well and it was comfortable and ergonomic to carry along the way. I haven't experienced using it during rainy weather yet but am certain it will keep my things snug and try when the opportunity arises.

To top it all off, the black color I selected is very stylish and others have asked me more about the Timbuk2 brand.

Again, this is a class backpack and I would recommend it to anyone who wants something versatile to have available for life's adventures.

why timbuk2, because they crossed my radar years ago and i ordered a custom messenger bag. which has lasted approximately10/11 years and is still going strong. this bag has been my constant companion for work and travel all over europe. the quality, build, and reliability are impeccable. why the rogue? i have a laptop that i need to cart around and as toby keith sings, i ain't as good as i once was, my how the years have flown". the rogue is amazingly comfortable with the behemoth laptop the company provided. the shoulder straps distribute the weight nicely. i also load it up with other stuff and it is amazing light and comfortable. the reason for the 4 stars is no key leash and the interior pocket and misc. other slots seem smaller than necessary. as i've only been using the rogue for a week or so i can't comment on the durability. however, i anticipate this bag to last me a long, long time. do yourself a favor, find the timbuk2 bag that fits you needs and go for it. you won't be disappointed.

              Comments about Rogue Laptop Backpack:

The molle straps make up for the lack of pockets. It's not obvious from the pictures but the molle straps on the very back have a very wide opening so you could cram something large in there without actually needing to have molle stuff to attach it.

The roll-top can be attached with the velcro from rolling it up, or you can clip it in and it gets velcroed as well. Sometimes I notice the flap isn't covering the top opening. I think this is me forgetting to make sure the top of the backpack walls are folding inwards.

The laptop pouch is great and has a velcro strap. Prior backpacks I've worn with a laptop pouch had no padding on the bottom, so dropping the laptop in the pouch would make it slam on the ground. Dropping the backpack was even worse. This backpack doesn't have this problem. The laptop pouch in the Rogue isn't separate from the rest of the backpack area, so keep that in mind when putting in wet things that might spill.

Strangely, it has a bottle opener on the right strap.

Overall I really like it. I sought out a backpack that would hold a small laptop (it can do much larger), was lightweight for biking, and would survive raining pacific northwest weather. It really fit this bill. I haven't had it outside in crazy rainy weather yet, but so far so good.

              What's this all about?

A military-inspired backpack with a slim, urban profile, the Rogue samples went fast in the Timbuk2 office. Clean on the outside, the Rogue is rather clever on the inside. A stretchy, air mesh laptop sleeve keeps your laptop safe and cool and internal organization provides a place for pens and power cords. On the outside, its cushy straps are super comfortable and come with a bottle opener for hydrations emergencies. And as a nod to the hardcore, daisy-chain webbing provides attachment points for your U-lock, carabiners or more serious strap-on accessories, but they're designed to look good naked too. Do as you wish.
