    Comments about Strap Pad:

The pad slips too much (as in most all the time). It is well made and attractive, and useful, but it would be nice if I didn't feel the need to secure it with double sided velcro, in order to avoid the hassle of constantly readjusting it. The bag itself is awesome!

Great Strap... but in timbuk2-speak Cobalt = Purple

    Comments about Strap Pad:

Great strap, everyone in our office has a different color to distinguish their timbuk2 from all the others... We ordered this one because cobalt normally refers to a very blue color, just take this excerpt from Wikipedia's article on Cobalt:

Cobalt-based blue pigments (cobalt blue) have been used since ancient times for jewelry and paints, and to impart a distinctive blue tint to glass, but the color was later thought by alchemists to be due to the known metal bismuth.

So the strap is still awesome, the color name is just wrong and misleading. Custom pieces can't be returned so no I've got a high-quality purple strap pad I need to find a use for.

        Comments about Strap Pad:

I love having the added padding on my shoulder. My bag is usually light, but when I have to pack a lot of stuff I find that this strap really helps my should from being sore. Putting it on is easy, and I usually forget it's even there when I have my bag.

This is the strap that I wish was on all my Timbuk2 bags! I've owned 3 generations of messenger bags, and this strap is the way it should have been all along. Super comfortable flexible and doesn't slide out of place easily. Good job improving the strap pad! Don't think twice: if you put any kind of decent weight in your bag, this strap will feel awesome.

                Comments about Strap Pad:

I dislike this new shoulder pad format and will be returning this.I got the smaller size.
I put it on my bag-strap once, and took it off immediately.
Compared to my old one--from several years ago--this is wimpy, less user-friendly, less comfort, etc.
If the larger size is like the old pad, then I'll get one of those in replacement, otherwise, back to the drawing board.

First thing from Timbuk2 that I don't like. I have 3 or 4 messengers, in various sizes and colors and they are fab. I don't want to have to keep switching the shoulder pad, and I'd like other colors, but I may be stuck.
                Disappointed.

                  Comments about Strap Pad:

'Definitely a stylish and comfortable addition to a bare strap. It would be nice, however, if there was a way to keep it from sliding around the strap so readily. Also: please consider a mini pocket on the top side for future editions--'would be great for easily accessing keys and such.
