DAVe Warnke

DAVe Warnke tries to recapture the innocence and simplicity of his childhood drawings. His cartoonish-pop style is full of weird, whimsical creatures and bright, bold colors. DAVe's hand-made stickers and posters can be found all over San Francisco, on boarded up buildings, poles and trash cans. His 'street art' is intended to brighten-up the urban landscape, with a little good-natured subversion. DAVe's artwork has been in gallery exhibits throughout the Bay Area, as well as in Los Angeles, New York, Nashville, Miami, London, and in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art.
