Leigh McCarthy

Leigh McCarthy is a serious daydreamer with an overactive imagination who grew up in Southern California. Now, she transforms her dreams into multimedia artwork. Recently she has rediscovered painting but still thinks in terms of moving images. Every still image is just a film still waiting for the narrative to unfold. But she leaves that up to the viewer. Leigh's work has been exhibited in Los Angeles, Madrid, and the Institute of Contemporary Art in London. She is also a member of the art collective LA Art Girls.
