Stephanie Lange

Stephanie Lange is an artist/designer from New York City who makes very personalized and very customized "clothes and things." She will sew a secret on the inseam of a pair of pants or silkscreen a story on the sleeve of a shirt. She is silk screening, painting and collaging everything she gets her hands on and recently crafted this Artist Original bag for Timbuk2. The "newspaper" bag reflects the other type of artwork she makes, which are pencil drawings of actual newspapers. These drawings are very detailed and always include sections of headlines and the date from a variety of newspapers. For the bag, she used snippets of newspaper headlines to create through collage a more positive headline and message for the bag.
