Have the bag in medium and the midnight blue, which is a great dark near-black-but-not-black color. tl;dr the bag carries bulk stuff or groceries well, but can't be in the rain or snow. Fair-weather bag. The bag itself is well made and comfortable to wear. It carries bulk items (within a certain size) well, and is a superb grocery bag. In fact, I use this for grocery runs, Target runs, and shopping trips. It us a fine shopping bag or duffle on your back. However, there is almost no organization in the bag besides these two pockets: a front pocket (pictured on site, which I'll write about in a bit) which can hold a phone and some keys and a collection of five or so sewn-on pockets in the inside-back. These pockets have a slot for a phone or 3DS/Vita, a few pens, and another small phone slot. There is no support on these pockets, so if you put heavy things in them they will make the bag sag when not wearing it, and if you put fragile things in these pockets, know that they have no padding between them and your back. So that front pocket I wrote about earlier: the zipper on my front pocket doesn't seal all the way. This front pocket is supposed to be the waterproof part of the bag but there is a tiny hole between the zipper pull and the seal on the zipper teeth that's left, even when pulling the zipper pull all the way over. This opening would very likely allow water in the pocket. While cool, the top of the bag doesn't seal at all. This means that any amount of water, rain, or snow on the top of the bag will slide down the bag's opening and into the bag. Do not use this bag in the rain. So the bag is an excellent grocery and shopping bag and looks great, but isn't fit for all weather conditions or even the lightest of rain. That's kinda annoying for something that's so well-designed otherwise.
